Suikoden I & II manga pics

Buscando información, hoy encontré unas imágenes de estos mangas, algo así como un mapa de personajes, mostrando la relación que tienen entre ellos. También encontré alguna información: la historia es la misma hasta donde sé, pero han cambiado los nombres de los protagonistas respecto a las novelas: Tir será llamado Ryoi y Riou será llamado Tao. Las imágenes y la información las he sacado de esta web y de varios de los links que aparecen en ella. Cuando tenga los mangas actualizaré de nuevo con los scans, pero tardarán en llegar, así que mientras esto es todo lo que puedo ofrecer^^

Searching info, I found today some pics from the mangas, it seems some map with the relationships between the characters. I found too some new info: the story will be the same as far as I know, but they changed the names from the novels: Tir will be called Ryoi and Riou will be called Tao. The images and the info are taken from this web and some links inside it. When Ill have the mangas ill update again, but that wont be very soon so now thats all I can show! ^^

Suikoden I PC- Chinese

Hoy, buscando imágenes del suikoden II chino de pc, encontré imágenes de una versión de suikoden que no sabía que existía (comercializada).
El juego es el mismo que la versión japonesa pero en chino, la caja es un poco diferente, igual que el manual y el cd.

Today I was searching images from Suikoden II chinese for pc, and I found pics from a suikoden version I didnt know it even exist.
The game is the same one than the japanese version but obviously in chinese, the box is slighty different, same with booklet and cd.

Suikoden I & II Konami The Best version

Well, even with the ever increasing amount of new merchandise we've been seeing these past weeks for our beloved series, it still may come as a surprise to you that the Japan-exclusive PSP port of Suikoden 1 and 2 has now been made into a "Konami The Best" or "Konami Besuto" version :P. In stores November 5th, with a price tag of 2,940yen. Apparently sales of the original PSP port weren't so hot in Japan, which makes you wonder why Konami decided to make this version of it. Perhaps it's because they love this serious just as much as we do :) awwwww, isnt it cute? There haven't been any changes in this version from the original port, except for the front cover design, which isnt all that different, but is much uglier, however :). Even though they are re-releasing this in Japan, there is little evidence to support the idea that they will be releasing this anywhere outside of Japan. You can pre-order it here.

I already commented in other posts about konamistyle selling the 2010 calendar and a special cd. But here is some more. If you reservate both them you wont save even 1 yen, but you would receive a special promo item: a suikoden mug with drawings of the runes.

Suikoden Arrange Collection Vol. 1 ~Vocal&Piano~

Como muchos sabreís, este futuro 2010 será el 15 aniversario de la saga Suikoden. Aunque aún no estemos ni en el 14 aniversario, Konami ya esta empezando a celebrarlo con un cd recopilatorio que cuenta con una cancion de cada suikoden 1-5 y Tierkreis en vocal y otra en piano. Incluyendo algunas famosas como Reminiscence o Her sigh (tema de Radat). Este cd se pondrá a la venta el 18 de Diciembre de 2009, 3 días después del 14 aniversario de la saga Suikoden y 1 dia después del aniverario número 11 del Suikoden II. Al llevar el título de Vol. I supongo que saldrán más a lo largo del 2010. La imagen del cd es esta de momento, pero es casi seguro que la modificarán. A lost Suikoden II treasure

Thanks to Nanamis super searching techniques, and my ability to make a very sad and innocent face, I guilted her into letting me win this rare merchandise :D teehee. Neither of us had any knowledge of its existence until now, and there's a good reason for it. From what we can tell, it was made for an event in Tokyo called "Geki" and was presumably designed for this event just before the release of the game in Japan, in 1998. The item itself is called a "Nobori". It is basically a banner designed with hooks to hang it, exactly like this: Nobori Picture. It is over 10 years old now, and there have probably been very very few of these made since it was for this event only. Knowing its rarity and seeing its wonderful design, I think Nan described it best when she said "it is a treasure"


Traducción: Gracias a las super técnicas de búsqueda de Nanami, y a mi habilidad para poner caras tristes e inocentes, he logrado que me deje ganar este mercha tan raro :D jejeje. Ninguno de nosotros tenía conocimiento de esto hasta ahora, y hay una razón para eso. Hasta donde creemos, fue hecho para un evento en Tokyo llamado Geki y seguramente fue hecho justo antes de que el juego saliese, el 1998. Se llama nobori y se trata de un banner disenyado para sel colgado de esta forma: imagen de nobori. Ahora tiene más de 10 anyos y probablemente hay muy pocos de estos dado a que son sólo para eventos. Sabiendo su rareza y viendo su fantaástico disenyo creo que Nan lo describió perfectamente cuando dijo: es un tesoro.

Suikoden 2010 Calendar

Es bueno saber que se sigue haciendo merchandising de Suikoden. En este caso hablo de un nuevo calendario que saldra a la luz el 18 de diciembre de 2009 a un precio de 2625 yenes. El calendario será muy similar al del 2009, con imagenes de Tierkreis y de otros Suikoden. Información extraida de Konamistyle.

Suikoden I & II manga

Tras la conversión de Suikoden III y Suikoden V (aún en progreso) al manga, Suikoden I y II sacan sus respectivos primeros tomos en venta a la vez. Esta vez, dibujados por Yu Hijikata, quien tiene experiencia en esto, pues se encargó de la adaptación en manga de Valkyrie Profile. Personalmente, prefiero el dibujo de Aki Shimizu, pero no puedo esperar a leerlo. Ojalá se animen a sacarlo fuera de Japón, por lo menos en inglés. El número de tomos es aún desconocido, cuando tenga más información actualizaré.

After the Suikoden III and Suikoden V (still in progress) manga adaptation, Suikoden I and II hagve now their own first manga volumes, which came out on sale at same time. This time, thats drawed by Yu Hijikata, who is experienced in this stuff, since she already did the same with Valkyrie Profile. Personally I rather Aki Shimizu's work, but even with that I cant wait to read it. I wish they sell that outside Japan, at least in english. The number of volumes is still unknown, when Ill have more info Ill updat it.

Suikoden V: comics UPDATED

Al contrario que con los demas volúmenes de la saga, Suikoden V cuenta con una enorme cantidad de antologías de cómic.
Cómo son bastante parecidos, he hecho un esquema con todos los cómics que existen de momento.
Los nombres son traducidos con google de japonés al inglés, así que es posible que no sean exactos.
Desconozco si los tres últimos libros (Rutokoro, Promises of Smiles y The dawn of time) están relacionados entre sí y forman parte de una antología o no.
Actualización: Nuevos tomos 3 y 4 de Castle of Dawn. Y supongo que seguiré actualizando porque a diferencia de los otros, este cuenta la historia vista en Suiko V, tal y como el manga del III.

Suikoden V: comics

In contrast to the other volumes of the series, Suikoden V has a large number of comic anthologies.
They are quite similar, so I made a diagram with all the comics that exist now.
The names are translated from Japanese into English with Google, so it may not be 100% perfect.
I dont know if the last three books (Rutokoro, Promises of Smiles and The dawn of time) are interrelated and being part of same anthology or not.
Updated: new books 3 and 4 from Castle of Dawn. And I think I will have to actualize soon again, because this one seems to be telling the story in Suiko V, something like Suikoden III manga.

New and Improved Winds Suikoden Room......take 2!

Hello all again!!!

Since showing you my new suikoden shelves something a little crappy happened....they fell :*(. I came home one day to find all my collection on the floor in ruins, but fear not, miraculously nothing was harmed except one Japanese Suikoden V guide, and even then only one little tear in the cover. Of course I cried louder than Simone did when he lost his rose brooch for a little bit, but Nanami cheered me up! She even suggested a new way of displaying my collection. Not only is it cool, but it's also a little less dangerous! YAY NANAMI TO THE RESCUE!

I present to you my new and improved suikoden room....take 2!

It isn't big enough to house all my collection, but it is sufficient for now until I can buy another! If anyone is interested, you can buy these from ikea for 50 euros! Pretty cheap considering the quality.

Suikoden fanmade dollfies and figures

Hoy es uno de esos días en que la búsqueda de cosas nuevas de suikoden ha dado sus frutos.
Today is one of the days in which my search for new suikoden stuff is worth.

En primer lugar he encontrado esta preciosa dollfie customizada como Nanami aquí. Yo hace tiempo que estoy haciendo la mía, pero no tengo dinero para el cuerpo. Ya la ensenyaré cuando la acabe^^.
In first place, I found this beautiful customized Nanami dollfie here. I have been making one since long ago but i dont have enough money for the body. I'll show her when Ill finish it^^

Pero eso no es todo, la gente me sorprende positivamente, no sólo por la calidad de los disfraces y los parecidos de los dollfies con los personajes reales. Lo que verdaderamente me gusta es la devoción con la cual la gente homenajea a suikoden. Aquí tenemos un conjunto de tres figuras correspondientes a Tir Mcdohl, Luc (Suikoden II) y sasarai (Suikoden II).
But thats not all... people surpreise me, not only for the quality of the costumes for the dolls and how much they seem the real characters. The thing Im really amazed with is the fact od people's devocation with Suikoden, doingf things like this. Here is this set of 3 figures: Tir Mcdohl, Luc (Suikoden II), and Sasarai (Suikoden II).

Miakis: como se hizo. También encontré en esta página el kit de Miakis, la cual ya hemos mostrado en el blog, montada y pintada. El kit incluye un manual muy mono con todas las partes y fotos para saber como pintarla.
Miakis: the making of. I also found Miakis kit in this website, figure which we already saw here before, already painted and assembled. The kid includes a booklet with all the parts of the figure and pics for knowing how to paint it.

Y más noticias buenas: ¡otra figura nueva! Lamentablemente tampoco es oficial, pero merece la pena verla. Hablo de Millie, del Suikoden II: "Bonaparte, ¿dónde estás?"
