Super suikoden package!

This is the biggest suikoden package I ever received. And there's more Im not showing because there are some double things and some stuff im getting for the next suikoden day and I dont want to spoiler xDDD
Its, too, the most expensive so Im going to slow down a bit about collecting because I need to save : ( But I will have another package in 2 months at most with the new suikoden and more stuff XD I just love too much collecting! The promo full games are bought in ebay, and same witrh the konami magazine, but i put it together for making it a pic : ) Now Im only missing the Suikoden IV promo full game^^
I received aswell 4 big japanese magazines with interviews to King (suikoden V) and cool stuff : ) and all suikoden V posters (the triptic ones and the other one). In total 15 kg of suikoden stuff xD

Este es el paquete más grande de Suikoden que haya recibido nunca, y aún hay más que no aparee en la foto porque hay cosas que venían dobles o que ya tenía y algunos de los premios para el siguiente Suikoden day que no muestro para no spoilear xD
Es, también el paquete más aro de todos, así que me temo que tendré que desacelerar on las compras porque necesito ahorrar : ( Aunque dentro de dos meses omo mucho, tendré otro paquete con el suikoden nuevo y más cosas xD ¡Me gusta demasiado coleccionar! Las versiones promo completas del juego y la revista de Konami las ompré por ebay pero las puse ahí para hacer foto conjunta. Ahora sólo me falta el Suikoden IV versión promo ^^
También recibí 4 revistas gordotas japos de playstation con entrevistas a King (Suikoden V) y más cositas chulas, y todos los posters del Suikoden V (los del tríptio y el otro)

Last Suikoden purchase: limited Lyon, nobori, aroma set and mangas

Hoy he recivido el último paquete de cosas de suikode que he comprado.
Se trata del nobori de Suikoden II, muy limitado y nunca comercializado (sólo se uso para promocionar el Suikoden II en eventos), la figura de Lyon edición limitada, el set de aroma de Suikoden III, y los mangas de Suikoden I y II.
No ha sido una compra grande por cantidad pero si por calidad. Dejo unas fotos aquí del nobori, resto de cosas, y de los mangas por dentro. Ya los he mirado y están muy pero que muy bien. El del Suiko I abarca hasta cuando Ted va a ensenyar su runa, y el del Suikoden II justo después de la destrucción de Toto. Hay algunos cambios y ausencia de algunos personajes poco importantes, pero las escenas importantes se mantienen. Especial mencion de la aparición de Luc en en I y de la escena "muere, cerdo" en el II.
Cada manga tiene 164 páginas, y he de decir que Yu Hijikata esta haciendo un trabajo mágnifico. El número de mangas y la fecha de los siguientes tomos son aún desconocidos.
Otro dato sin mucha relevancia pero curioso es el parecido de estos mangas con los de Suikoden III: primeras hojas a color, contraportada con los 108 nombres de las estrellas, y el lateral de cada tomo empieza un dibujo que no podremos ver completados hasta el último tomo. Quizá intente hacerlos tambien en 11 volumenes, pero esto es ya sólo suposición.
Espero que vendan lo suficiente para que se planteen traerlos, al menos en inglés. Se pueden comprar aquí:

Today I received the last suikoden package I ordered.
That contents the Suikoden II nobori (very limited and never comercialized- it was only used for promotion in events), the Lyon limited edition figure, the suikoden III aroma set and suikoden I and II mangas.
That wasnt a big purchase because of the quantity, but for the quality. Here I show pics of the nobori, rest of things and mangas inside. I already saw them and theyre very very well done. Suikoden I one lasts until just before Ted showing his power, and Suikoden II one last until just after Toto is destroyed. There are some different things and they didnt show some secundary charcters, but the important scenes are still there. Like when Luc shows up in Suikoden I or "die pig" scene in Suikoden II.
Each manga has 164 pags and I should say Yu Hijikata is doing a great job. The number of mangas and the date of realese for the new ones are still unknown.
Another date not very important but still curious is these seem alike to suikoden III ones: first pages in color, the back with the names of 108 stars and the books side has a part of a drawing we wont see fully until we had all books. Maybe theyll try to make them in 11 books too, but thats only guessing. I hope they will have enough sales in Japan and they bring that here, at least in english. This one is suikoden IV japanese cloth poster. Its really cool. I owe this one (the piture is from the auction I won).

This is the only not-japanese one. Its a promo Konami America Suikoden IV poster. Its easy to see sometimes on ebay.

Suikoden Posters

Helloooooo all! We're back again with a glorious update on fancy Suikoden wall decorations.....in other words, Posters!! Konami seems to love promoting their beloved series in Japan with promo Posters, so lucky for us there are more things to collect! There are quite a few posters to show, and probably more we haven't discovered or don't have a picture of yet. So this list might be update in the near future as we find them :) I hope you drool as much as we did while looking at these! Enjoy!

Suikoden 1 Poster
Suikoden 1 posters are veeeery hard to find. In fact in all our years of searching we've only ever seen 2 and this is one of them. Even then we only saw this the one time. Well, except for the many times I see it in my room since I was fortunate enough to win this, YAY!


This just happens to be one of my favourite posters of all time. I just love the Suikoden 1 artwork and what better way to display it then on your wall with all 108 SoD's :). This poster was part of a set of 3, each poster contained all the 108 stars for Suikoden 1, 2, and 3. They were only sold at the Tokyo Game Show as far as i'm aware.




Suikoden 2 Posters
This promo poster was given to stores to promote the then upcoming game Suikoden II in Japan. It also promoted the fact that Metal Gear Solid in Japan was released with a playable demo of Suikoden II inside.








The left poster is similar to Nanamis rare suikoden II poster but contains Japanese kanji instead of english text. This one is rare but not nearly as rare as Nanamis.
The one on the right is similar to the promo poster above, but the difference is this one was released after Suikoden II in Japan, and is no longer a promo picture.


The poster on the left is of quite a famous picture of Suikoden II. This picture has quite a few releases on suikoden merch, ie a phone card, a card, post cards etc.

The right poster is one of my favourites and contains the 3 main characters in the foreground and the 108 SoDs in the background.



If you follow this blog i'm sure you've seen this gem quite a few times :). It belongs to our very own Nanami. It was released in Europe/UK to promote the release of Suikoden II. It is seemingly impossible to find unless you ask Nanami nicely for it :)






There is also a Suikoden 2 poster of all the 108 stars similar to the Suikoden 1 and 3 ones featured in this post, but sadly I do not have a picture of it to show you. I promise when I find one, it'll be updated here!

This poster was 1 of 2 released in the US to promote the release of Suikoden III. These are actually quite hard to find. But every once in a while you'll see them on eBay.





The second of 2 released in the US. Another hard one to find.

Suikoden V Posters
These posters were released in Japan as a set of 3 with the release of Suikoden V. Obviously they didn't come framed, but what a cool idea! *Pic taken from the suikosource forums.





Another oddly shaped Suikoden poster, similar to the Suikoden IV one above. You'll notice they advertise a DVD in this one. The cover of the DVD is not one we've seen before, but Nanami and I seem to think this poster was created before they knew how the DVD that came with the Limited Edition Suikoden V would look, so they made a sample of it with this pic. I don't think this cover really exists.

Yet another oddly shaped one similar to the Suikoden IV and V ones. This ones for Rhapsodia, i like it!









A set of 6 mini posters for Rhapsodia. It was released at TGS and is quite rare and expensive. I've seen this for auction twice and both times it was very expensive.

Misc. Suikoden Posters
In this picture is the famed Aki Shimizu, artist for the Suikoden 3 manga. Behind her is a huge poster for the first volume in the manga series. I doubt there were very many of these made, in fact maybe this is the only one. Needless to say it's a rare one, possibly impossible to hunt down for purchase :( Cool though, isn't it?
