Ha pasado mucho, mucho tiempo desde que comenté que me llego el garage kit de Miakis, pero entre unas cosas y otras, no me ponía a pintar... (lo siento!)

Estos días he aprovechado qu he montado un pequenyo rincón de manualidaes en casa, y me he puesto y ya está casi terminada.

Hoy día de reyes me ha dado por intentar hacer una figura con una plastilina especial que se seca al aire. Como se aprecia por el resultado, es la primera vez que intento algo asi XD Aún así le he puesto muchas ganas y confío en que quede mejor una vez pintada : )

He recibido mi última gran compra: ¡la figura de Miakis! llevaba anyos tras ella y he podido conseguir este ejemplar con mucha suerte... es la única vez en mi vida que la he visto a la venta, es una joya bastante rara : )
La iré pintando y montando si me atrevo, quizá empiece este domingo : ) Ya iré subiendo fotos.
I just received my last big purchase: Miakis figure! I spent years and years seaching for it and I finnally could get this one, I think I was so lucky... Its the only time Ive ever seen this figure for sale, its a rare treasure : )
Ill paint it and and Ill ensemble it if Im able to, maybe this sunday : ) Ill post pictures soon.

More Suikoden figures

Últimante he ido encontrando más y más figuras de Suikoden, casi por casualidad. En esta ocasión sólo traigo dos nuevas, pero creo que merecen la pena.
Se trata de Nanami sentada y de Sgt. Joe de escala 1/20.
La dirección donde encontré ambas fue aquí.
Buscando 幻想水滸伝 aparece, es la única forma... si quereis ver las imagenes os teneis que registrar, y también podreis puntuar y hacer comentarios. Según google, el de Nanami está hecho por un escultor llamado Maki, y el del sargento por Yukimura. Excelente trabajo ambos.Letely Ive been finding more and more suikoden figures. I found the web here. If you search 幻想水滸伝 you will see those, its the only way... if you want to see all the pics you need to register before, and you can give them a score and even comment them. Goggle traductor said Nanami's modeler is called Maki and Joe's one is called Yukimura. Nice job both of them did.

Suikoden fanmade dollfies and figures

Hoy es uno de esos días en que la búsqueda de cosas nuevas de suikoden ha dado sus frutos.
Today is one of the days in which my search for new suikoden stuff is worth.

En primer lugar he encontrado esta preciosa dollfie customizada como Nanami aquí. Yo hace tiempo que estoy haciendo la mía, pero no tengo dinero para el cuerpo. Ya la ensenyaré cuando la acabe^^.
In first place, I found this beautiful customized Nanami dollfie here. I have been making one since long ago but i dont have enough money for the body. I'll show her when Ill finish it^^

Pero eso no es todo, la gente me sorprende positivamente, no sólo por la calidad de los disfraces y los parecidos de los dollfies con los personajes reales. Lo que verdaderamente me gusta es la devoción con la cual la gente homenajea a suikoden. Aquí tenemos un conjunto de tres figuras correspondientes a Tir Mcdohl, Luc (Suikoden II) y sasarai (Suikoden II).
But thats not all... people surpreise me, not only for the quality of the costumes for the dolls and how much they seem the real characters. The thing Im really amazed with is the fact od people's devocation with Suikoden, doingf things like this. Here is this set of 3 figures: Tir Mcdohl, Luc (Suikoden II), and Sasarai (Suikoden II).

Como es el caso de esta figura de Chris de Suikoden III que me ha encantado también. En esta figura podemos ver a Chris con el pelo suelto y sin armadura, ¡y esta realmente bonita! Aquí está el link.

Miakis: como se hizo. También encontré en esta página el kit de Miakis, la cual ya hemos mostrado en el blog, montada y pintada. El kit incluye un manual muy mono con todas las partes y fotos para saber como pintarla.
Miakis: the making of. I also found Miakis kit in this website, figure which we already saw here before, already painted and assembled. The kid includes a booklet with all the parts of the figure and pics for knowing how to paint it.

Y más noticias buenas: ¡otra figura nueva! Lamentablemente tampoco es oficial, pero merece la pena verla. Hablo de Millie, del Suikoden II: "Bonaparte, ¿dónde estás?"

Flame Champion prototype figure

Cuando salió el set de 7 figuras gashapon de todos los héroes de Suikoden, se pensaron si hacer al prota del 4 o al héroe del fuego, cuyo prototipo estaba ya hecho y anunciado. Al final se decantaron por Lazlo, y no se les ocurrió meter a este otro que lo tenían ya hecho como figura secreta o algo. Una pena, porque es una pasada. ¿Quién tendrá el prototipo en su mesita de noche? Y sobretodo... ¿por qué no YO? xD

When the set of 7 Suikoden heros gashapon figures came out, they didnt know if they should do the suiko 4 hero or the flame champion, which prototype was already done and announced. Finnally, they choose Lazlo, and they didnt think in put Flame Champion like secret figure or something... Thats a shame, since its so cool. Who should have this prototype in his room? And... Why not ME? XD

Lyon normal & limited edition o busca las diferencias

Como coleccionista que me considero, adoro todo lo que ponga "limited edition", como es el caso de esta figura de Lyon. Pero en el caso de esta figura, al menos a mis ojos, es... casi idéntica a la normal.
La edición limitada creo que se trata de una edición para el WonderFest 2007 Winter. He leído "PVC version", pero la normal también está hecha del mismo material, así que no sé...
La diferencia clara es la posición del brazo, y la pegatina de Limited Edition (sinceramente creo que no me habría dado cuenta de que hay dos versiones sin el susodicho sticker aclaratorio).
No sé si la cara es ligeramente diferente... no tengo ninguna imagen lo suficientemente grande como para apreciarlo, pero aún así pongo la única que encontré y que cada cual saque sus propias conclusiones (si es que no soy la única a la que le interesa esto... XD). Lo que si se aprecia es que la edición limitada tiene la cabeza más girada.
El precio es otra diferencia. La edición regular puede costar alrededor de unos 1000 yenes, incluso menos si se busca bien, mientras que la edición limitada alcanzó los 10000 la única vez que la vi en puja. En cualquier caso son las dos muy bonitas, ojalá que hagan más figuras de Suikoden con Yujin porque tienen un acabado muy bueno.

Original Lyon & Limited Edition Lyon Differences

As a collector I feel that I love everything that's "limited edition", like this figure of Lyon. But in this case, at least to my eyes, it's ... almost identical to the original version. I think the limited edition was an item for the 2007 Winter Wonderfest. I read "PVC version" but the original is also made of the same material, so I don't know..
The clear difference is the position of the arm, as well as the Limited Edition sticker (I sincerely believe that I would have realized that there are two different versions without the aforementioned sticker).
I don't know if the face is slightly different ... as I have no picture big enough to distinguish the details, but even if you can't see them very well, i'll post them and you can draw your
own conclusions (if i'm not the only one who is interested in this ... XD) From the angle it seems the head on the limited edition is slightly rotated. Another difference is the price. You can find the original edition for about 1000 yen now, even less if you are lucky. While the Limited Edition sold for 10, 000 yen in the only auction i've seen of it. In any case, the two are very beautiful.
I hope they make more suikoden figures with yujin because they are very good quality.
