Suikoden Shinsho

Dentro de los libros de suikoden hay una colección que brilla con luz propia: los Shinsho.
Se trata de una colección de 16 libros que son, mirados desde cualquier ángulo, una delicia para los fans.
Con un papel de alta calidad, llenos de ilustraciones (muchas de ellas inéditas), explicaciones sobre las armas, recetas de la mano de Hai-Yo y Mamie, fanart, especiales sobre los mejores momentos y personajes más populares... conforme avanza la colección, se va centrando más en juegos posteriores, de esta forma los primeros libros tratan más sobre suikoden I y II, posteriormente sobre suikogaiden y suikoden III, y el último tomo, del IV.
En el último tomo se puede apreciar la diferencia entre esta portada y todas las anteriores. Shinsho deja de ser una colección de libros totalmente diferente para parecerse a cualquier guia oficial de Suikoden. Por desgracia el último libro deja un poco de mal sabor de boca respecto a los anteriores, pero es una colección que merece la pena tener.
Como ya comenté anteriormente, en el vol. 6 hay un "especial merchandising" muy interesante, tengo los scans pero en mala calidad así que ya me dedicaré a escanearlos yo misma en cuanto pueda.

Suikoden Shinsho

Within the many sets of suikoden books, exists a collection that shines so brightly: The Shinso.
They're a collection of 16 books that are a dream come true for fans. With high
quality paper full of illustrations (many of them unpublished), weapon details, cooking
recipes from Hai-Yo and Mamie, Fanart, and specials on the best and most popular moments.
As the books progress, they focus on the later games. Meaning the first few books are
more about Suikoden I and II, and later on Suikoden III, suikogaiden, while the last book
is about Suikoden IV. In the last volume you can notice the difference of covers compared
to the rest. Shinso is an entirely different set of books compared to other official
suikoden guides. Unfortunately, the last book leaves a little bitter taste from the previous ones, but is still is a collection worth having. As I said earlier, in vol. 6 there is a "special merchandise" section that's very interesting. I have the scans but they're low quality, so I will dedicate myself to scanning them as soon as possible.

Suikoden III: el manga

Aki Shimizu nos deleitó hace unos anyos con un cómic basado en la historia de Suikoden III.
Cuenta con 11 tomos dibujados con esmero y con la grandiosa historia del tercer volumen de la saga.
Podemos encontrar este manga en cuatro idiomas tal y como aparece en la imagen, podemos ver las portadas del primer tomo en cada diferente idioma. Por orden son: japonés, chino, inglés y francés. Por desgracia nunguna editorial se deicidió a lanzarlo en castellano, pero siempre podemos disfrutarlo en uno de estos idiomas. Se pueden comprar en ebay o en yesasia.com ^^

Suikoden III: manga

Aki Shimizu delighted us with a comic based on the story of Suikoden III some years ago.
It has 11 volumes carefully drawn with the history of the third volume in the saga.
We can find this manga in four languages as shown in the picture, we see the covers of the first volume in each different language. They are: Japanese, Chinese, English and French. Unfortunately no one publisher decided to traslate it into spanish, but we can always enjoy one of these languages. You can buy them at ebay or yesasia.com ^ ^

Suikoden: Las novelas

Entre la extensa cantidad de libros de Suikoden, existen las novelas, totalmente en japonés y con algunas ilustraciones en blanco y negro, así como unas pocas en color.
Las novelas cuentan la historia de los juegos, y es de ahí de donde se sacan los nombres "oficiales" de los héroes de suikoden como Tir, Riou, Lazlo y Freyjadour (más conocido como Frey).
Existen novelas del Suikoden I, de historias cortas del I y II, novelas del suikoden II, del IV y por último, del V.
Se pueden conseguir en ebay, siendo las del II las más difíciles de conseguir, pero no imposibles.
Tienen un precio bastante asequible y una buena calidad.
Algunas incluyen un poster desplegable A4 más o menos como el que muestro (Frey vs Roy!!!), con imágenes espectaculares de las mejores escenas del juego.

Suikoden: novels

Among the vast quantity of books Suikoden, there are novels, entirely in Japanese and with some black and white illustrations, as well as a few in color.
The novels tell the story of the games, and it is where we found the "official" names of the heroes of suikoden as Tir, Riou, Lazlo and Freyjadour (aka Frey).
There are novels of Suikoden I, short stories of I and II, suikoden II ones, IV and finally the V.
They can be found in ebay, the second ones are the most difficult to get but not impossible.
They have a cheap price and good quality.
Some of them include an A4 poster inside as shown (Frey vs Roy !!!), with spectacular images of the best game scenes.
