Original VS Fake Suikoden OSTs

We all know there are chinese fake copies of most (or all!) videogames and anime ost. Until now I didnt have the chance of seeing the differendces between both of them. Just now I found my fake chinese copy of one of them so Im going to make this little guide. I wanted to make pics of the booklet too but I cant find the fake one : ( I thing theyre practically the same but for the last page which I believe it was a little different.
They have another difference you cant see in the pic and Im obviously talking about the price. Fakes one are about... 15$? while original ones are 40$-50$. I startet buying suikoden fake ost before I knew they were fake, that was 10 years ago. When someone told me they were fake I already had 10 of them, I bought them with the little money I could get being so young xD I was so sad, and I said I wasnt going to buy anything fake again. Now I dont mind too much since at least I can listen them and make this filler-half-useful for the blog ;P
Soon, the costumized pinky street post.

Suikoden II PC Chinese....Alas!!

Hola a todos!

We're very sorry for the lack of updates but Nan and I have been overly busy as of late, we rarely have time for updating. Especially since there hasn't been much news to tell in the world of Suikoden merchandise. I've managed to buy a few Suikoden things I didn't have in the last couple of months, but nothing that we haven't covered before. However there is one exception :)...I know we've talked about this item once before, but never had any real info for you....until today!

I managed to finally track down a copy of the Chinese version of Suikoden II for the PC!! YAAAY! Behold the beauty in all it's glory :). Unfortunately the auction didn't come in it's original packaging (I still haven't any idea what the original packaging looks like) but it did come with both install discs and the manual. Though, it's really nothing to drool about, the discs are very generic and the manual doesn't have anything we haven't seen before.
This is the first time i've played Suikoden II on the PC so I can't compare it to other PC versions (if there are any?). I can tell you though that everything is in a higher resolution and a little bit more detailed than its playstation counterpart. Simply said, it looks beautiful on the PC. The one thing I was a little dissapointed about was the lack of video and audio options. Why? Because there isn't any :(. The only options you are allowed to adjust are the keyboard and joystick buttons. At least they gave us that though right?

This version is probably right up there near the top on the rarity list for Suikoden merch. I've only ever seen this thing twice, the first time the seller refused to sell it for some reason, and this time I won it. It didn't come cheap either, over $100 :(.
I'll leave you with some pictures of it that I took :)

Suikoden 1 PC Chinese....again!

Hello all!

A new gift arrived in my mail today, but sadly it isn't for me :( haha, especially since it's so cool! Nanami talked about it a little bit already here. It's the Suikoden 1 PC Chinese version. Comparing this to the Japanese version it is actually higher quality in my opinion. The colours seem a little bit more vibrant in the printing, the box is much sturdier, and there is a little bit more included inside! Let's take a look inside! ^^

Booklet

The blue page seems to be showing a list of games from SOFT WORLD (the chinese developer of the game) while the yellow insert seems to be a list of games from them that were on sale at that time, including Suikoden 1. Also, on the yellow insert and the back of the box are silver stickers that show that this product is official and not copyrighted, which is a welcome addition since China makes a lot of bootlegged games. The artbook seems to be almost identical to the Japanese version, except it has 56 pages in colour while the Japanese version only has 42.
This awesome game belongs to Nanami so I will be shipping it to her soon! I'm so jealous of you!! :**

Suikoden II PC chinese version

I will talk about this game which is so unknown. I dont know if it's official, but the Konami links seems it...
This is the Suikoden II for pc, chinese edition. I have spoken before about Suikoden I pc, the difference is that I have ever seen this one for sale (Winds saw it on eBay.com.hk but the seller didnt ship outside China).
Here I show the game cover (it seems made with paint in my opinion...), a screen for selecting the name, and finally I leave here the link of the official? web. If anyone has more information about this game, I would appreciate if you could comment.
